alolaTerms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the alola mobile applications (Google Play and Apple Store) and the website travelsawaa.com (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
alola provides a platform that connects riders with drivers for private rides and smart ride-sharing. alola is a technology provider and does not itself provide transportation services. Rides are provided by independent drivers; alola is not a carrier and is not a party to any transportation contract between you and a driver.
2. Accounts
To use the Service you must create an account and be at least 18 years old. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3. Booking and Rides
You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to harm or harass drivers or other users, or to damage property. Drivers are similarly expected to provide a safe and professional service. alola may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Payments
Fares and fees are calculated as presented in the app. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. By adding a payment method you authorize us to charge it for rides, wallet top-ups, and other applicable fees. Refunds, where applicable, are handled according to our refund policy and applicable law. Wallet balances are not a bank deposit and do not earn interest.
5. Promotions and Codes
Promotional codes may be offered from time to time and are subject to their own terms. Codes cannot be sold or transferred and may be revoked if abused.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) violate any law or third-party right; (b) impersonate any person; (c) attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; (d) use the Service to send spam or unauthorized communications; or (e) provide false information that could harm other users.
7. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and software related to the Service are owned by alola or its licensors. You may not use them without prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. alola is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any issue arising from a ride arranged through the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold alola harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app (Settings - Delete Account) or by contacting us. alola may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
